MONTE DA LINDA cottage, recently built in traditional region’s architecture, is set in a big plot of land located in Melides, a typical small village on Alentejo’s coast. A quiet place to enjoy some days or relaxation, anytime of the year. The ideal place to go to the beach if you’re one of those people who prefer almost deserted beaches.

The space
The cottage is located just 1 Km from the village of Melides and 5 Kms from the beach.
In the village of Melides, amongst the white houses you find typical handcraft, markets, nice restaurants, bank, a church from the seventeenth century with images from the era is well worth a visit.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom has one large single bed (fit 2 children or one adult). Separate bathroom.A separate 3rd bedroom with double beds and private bathroom. Fully equipped open plan kitchen, with fridge/freezer, cooker and hob, microwave, coffee machine. There is a separate utility room with washing machine. Lounge with typical fireplace, leads to the garden and terrace, TV and sofas.
In case you stay more than a week, the maid service is twice a week with change of towels, bed linen changed once a week.
Outside a small covered terrace with portable barbecue, table and chairs for 5 people. It leads to a garden area, but you can also enjoy a wild and natural area with local plants and trees, such as fruit trees, pine trees or cork tree in approx 10.000m2 of land.
In July and August we only accept bookings for 7 nights with change over days on Saturday.
